This is a page that I set up to explain what I was talking about yesterday.
(I do not link to it from anywhere, so it is essentially a private/hidden page.)
What I do is easier to show than explain, and it is easier to do on a web page :)
The first part of the page below is about what I do. It involves making “3D/360° multimedia gallerys” that can be embedded in web pages with links to outside web pages and media. It is the part that is easier to show than explain.
It is also explains that sunbeams matter in my work.
The second part of the page is about the pictures and videos I have of you.
Notice that none of my gallery’s have people in them, so far. I don’t generally take pictures of people.
However, if you take a look at the pictures and videos I have of you, you’ll understand why the sunbeams are there and why a gallery of you playing strikes me as a neat thing to do.
I should mention that I do not do my work “commercially” in that no money is involved.
That being said, my web site and the posts I do about my work get pretty good traffic. They would be good publicity for you, and I would also give you the permission and code to include whatever I would make in your web site or other media.
Now, all that being said, I’m sad I wasn’t able to record more and better quality media this year.
My original hope was to get enough video clips to put together a full “gallery” this year and show it to you and get your permission to use it.
Unfortunately I didn’t get to Salem as often as I wanted because I’m in the middle of moving, and the location you were playing at didn’t lend itself to taking videos as well as Lappin Park did last year. Thus I wasn’t able to get very many clips and they weren’t of as high a quality as I had hoped. I’ve just got enough to do a “demo” which I would not consider publishable as much as a better explanation than this of what I wish I could make.
I will also mention that I noticed that you also have sunbeams/angels in some of your videos on your YouTube channel. That strikes me as neat. Perhaps you and/or your violin playing attacts them? :)
So, that’s the story as it stands.
Sometime in the not too distant future I’ll hack together a demo and send it to you just for fun.
Perhaps next year, if you are here again, I can do better. At least you will know why I’m taking the videos :)
